Conference Proceedings


We do urge you all to contribute your paper or workshop discussion to the proceedings, so that we can have as full a record as possible of this first Southern Hemisphere ALM Conference.

Writing is for an international audience: conciseness and clarity are valued.

Contributions

Two kinds of contributions to the proceedings of the ALM12-ACAL2005-BMN Conference are possible.

  1. Refereed papers
    Authors who wish their papers to be refereed will need to submit their paper to Marj Horne and Beth Marr care of Marj Horne on m.horne@patrick.acu.edu.au by Wednesday July 6th 2005. The refereeing procedure will be fully in accordance with normal academic standards, and refereed papers will be marked with an asterisk in the published proceedings.
  2. Non-refereed contributions
    Any paper or workshop report whose author is not requiring the contribution to be refereed should send it to Marj Horne and Beth Marr care of Marj Horne on m.horne@patrick.acu.edu.au by 16th September, 2005.

Format

Contributions should be between 2000 and 5000 words and should be presented in Word using A4 paper with 3 cm margins and using Times New Roman 12 point font. Each contribution should include the title, author’s name, institution and brief abstract. Authors should also include full postal address, email address and a short biographical note (less than 50 words). Avoid the use of footnotes. References should be in the APA style.
